Release Engineer / Configuration Management

books, photo calendars cards and other imaging press products.
DigiLabs private labels and customizes software for companies looking to
grow their on demand photo products business (e. g., books, cards,
calendars, etc.) and offers both at-home (online ordering) as well in-store
(retail) solutions.

The individual will be part of Software development group and will support
multiple products release.
Primary Responsibilities:
Manage multiple customized private label versions release for multiple
products. This does include interfacing with multiple customers
simultaneously during the customization process, implementing customization
scripts, builds, and final releases for those customers.
Server as the main customer contact info during the customization and
release process and on-going change requests.
Provide day-to-day operational and maintenance support to customization
procedures, activities, and build tools.
Own and develop our build system. Installation utilities for Windows and
Mac, and, software distribution server. Maintain build environments and
build history.
Provide administrative and technical support (not limited to installation),
trouble-shoot customization problems, and own the private label release
process.
Communicate with customers, partners, and technical support during and after
the release.
Secondary Responsibilities:
Configure and sustain build and configuration management tools and build
scripts.
Perform application engineer duties, working with sales and engineering.
Required Skills:
Wide range of technical experience and understanding and a proved ability to
learn and master new technologies.
Multitasking ability and ability to perform under stress. Ability to
successfully manage concurrent deliverables on time and with quality within
fast-paced environment and under deadlines. Ability to support parallel
projects in support of multi deployments.
Attention to details. High degree of professionalism to address and resolve
end-user issues. Experience in providing follow-up to customer base in
timely and quality manner. Excellent oral and written communications are
required.
Flexibility and maturity to adapt to the environment in transition.
Work independently as part of the expanded team.
Candidates must be eligible to work in the US.
Nice to Have Skills:
J2EE environment.
Education:
BS/BA in Computer Science or an equivalent combination of training and
experience.
